Do you guys recall my dream about the snake that I was holding that I wrote about a few weeks ago? Well I had another dream about snakes yesterday that I remembered last night- but this time it was different. The other one was recurring, but this one was a first. I dreamt I needed to turn on a water spigot on the outside of a house. I needed water for some reason, but as I went to turn on the water there were several snakes all around the outside of the house...many kinds, some more dangerous and poisonous than others. Because of this I was hesitant to turn on the water. But I decided to turn my head away, close my eyes and reach for the knob and turn it on. As I did so the snakes began to die, all of them. And once the water was on they were all dead.
Again I felt it meant something. Interpretation anyone?
The more I think about it the more interesting I think it is. I see symbolism all over the place. Water that is quenching, healing, and cleansing. Snakes as the evil and turning the water on despite being scared and reluctant as faith. And then the evils dying because of the water....
