The Lion King and Boots

Mom and Dad gave us a gift certificate to see a Broadway show of our choice last Christmas.  We decided it would be fun to see the Lion King, but because of various reasons the tickets we bought were for the very day we bought them on.  Long story short, we couldn't find a babysitter and thus it turned into a Mother Daughter date.  
Audrie was in heaven.  And it was SO fun to spend that quality time with just her!  There was a rainbow in the sky the entire drive to the show.  We kept seeing pieces of it, and then right before we turned into the city it was finally a complete half rainbow :)  I thought it was quite fitting.

We actually asked SEVERAL people to take pictures of us together, but they either completely cut our heads off or didn't even take the picture due to lack of pushing the button all the way down....so our choices were limited. Above is right before we left and below is right as we entered the theater.

It was awesome.  During the opening song they had all the animals coming down the isles and we could have reached out and touched them!  It gave me chills.  Seriously so much fun.  Audrie loved every second if it and I loved every second of her.  Thanks Padres even though it wasn't what you intended it was a VERY memorable night :)

 Got 'em exchanged and LOVE them so much!  The other's were really fun, but just a touch to loud for me.  And these were calling my name :)  YEEHAW!  Love them.  Thanks Andy, seriously a really fun gift.
