Tyler got his tonsils out today, among other things (tubes put in adenoids taken out...again). He's been pretty grouchy, but all things considered he has done very well. Currently he has a notebook next to him and writes whatever it is he needs and shows it to me. Audrie's motherly nurturing has come our full swing and she is taking good care of her big brother. Awfully sweet if you ask me :)
While Tyler was in the recovery room he wanted his Dad, so we had one of the nurses entertain Kaylee for a few minutes so we could both be in the recovery room at the same time. The nurse did a great job entertaining her. And she looks pretty cute to boot!

That's so nice that Tyler can communicate through writing . . . if only the communication with my kids was so simple. :)
I'm glad to hear he's recovering well. It feels like we haven't talked in a LONG time.
