Saturday Morning Pancakes

So Saturday morning seems to be unofficially dubbed pancake day at our house. Well Tyler REALLY wanted to get things moving quicker than I was a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to let him. For some reason it's really, REALLY hard for me to let the kids do anything by themselves (I know, serious control freak), especially when there will inevitably be a mess involved. Well needless to say there was a big mess, but he the fact that he was so proud of his creations and had so much fun being left "in charge" of breakfast quickly replaced my anxiety of the mess with pride and happiness in my son. Here are the tasty pancakes; obviously he got very creative with their shapes :)
