Choosing the Right and Zebra Wars

A couple of things real quick. First off above is Tyler’s story he wrote for school. Notice the title was changed to “Zebra Wars.” Can you tell we’re a bit into a certain sci fi movie?

Also, I have to tell you about something Audrie said the day before yesterday. She is always saying, “We don’t believe in Satan, do we Mom? People who litter and don’t do the right believe in Satan, huh mom.” In which I usually reply something about how most people don’t worship Satan, they just don’t remember to choose the right all the time. So the other day she started going on her usual monologue, “Some people believe in Satan…" Then she deviated a bit from the norm, "but if I ever believed in Satan, I would change…” she became quiet, thought for a moment and then got really serious and LOUD and said, “I would change and believe in God! And then I’ll NEVER QUIT!! I’ll NEVER QUIT!” I wish you could hear her almost 5 year old voice with such determination and a sense of absolute seriousness. It was SO CUTE.

Both of those just tickled my funny bone :)
