These pictures kind of give you an idea of the MASSIVENESS of the caves. They were HUGE. I couldn't help but think about the time I went spelunking in college in the Nutty Putty caves. I kept telling my kids how I went through what they called the "birth canal" and we had to army crawl, (if you could call it that, it was SO tight it was more of a slither) through this terrible narrow opening. (Arit, if you are reading I'm sure you recall how claustrophobic it was! We had to talk her through a couple of almost panic moments). Then on the other side of the "canal" was an opening with a waterfall. It was very cool!! I would love to do it again sometime, assuming I would still fit through it!
My kids now think I am slightly cool :) I was once upon a time.
I guess they were a little tired because they ALL look spaced out in this picture. Hahahaha...

I love natural bridge caverns. We took Tyler when he was little and he cried because he was convinced a bear would get him. And did you know? Nutty Putty has been sealed off after someone actually died trying to get in.
LOVE it!!! Looks like you had such a great time! These pictures totally make me miss spelunking! One of my favorite things to do that I won't be doing any time soon because Joseph will NOT go in a cave to save his life =). Nutty Putty was VERY tight, although, I don't remember being scared of how claustrophobic it was. I was scared because I really hit my knee hard in the caves and it was in A LOT of pain. You and whatever his name was, I can't remember, had to help me maneuver just right so I could get through certain strategic parts of the cave. I think I was scared I wouldn't be able to get out because me knee hurt so bad, hence the panic =). You are a totally cool mom, by the way!! Did you relate the entire adventure of getting lost in the car on the way back, the car breaking down, police car and the tow truck?? That was quite a night all us roommates had =).
Arit! I CLEARLY forgot many things about that night...I totally don't remember you hurting your knee and I don't remember car issues either. You are going to have to stir my memory. Who else was with us, roommate wise??
