Andy gave me a single long stem rose this valentines as well as a hot date to a very high end restaurant. It was probably the funnest date I have been on in a very long time. Seriously had a blast. It was a very random location for such a highly reviewed restaurant, but the food was the best I have ever, EVER tasted. Andy kept making fun of what I was saying because I just couldn't get over the fabulous food. If any of the locals reading this are interested it was called Chez Nous.

Andy's Version:
I took Tara to Chez Nous for our Valentines Day dinner. The location is nestled quaintly in the old part of Humble, surrounded by charming run-down duplexes and apartment buildings. Tara was holding back when we walked up to the door, clutching her purse tightly and looking over her shoulder. Inside, the prestige of the restaurant still didn't sink in right away as Tara was seated next to a drafty window and had to put her coat up to block the breeze. But once the Blue Crab Mango Salad was delivered, Tara's taste buds were in heaven, and her physical location was forgotten as her mouth created memories to last a lifetime. We ate:
Blue Crab Mango, Avocado, Tomato and Basil Salad
Lamb with Rosemary and Thyme
Seafood Risotto of Main Lobster, Scallops and Shrimp
Red Delicious Apple Cheese Cake with a Gingersnap Crust
And to these dishes, Tara declared:
"I've never been so satisfied!"
"It's so smooth..."
"I don't think I've ever experienced food... I've been reborn."
And last but not least, 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant:
"I'm still wigging out that was so good [belch]."
(editors note: it was a very quiet, tight lipped burp...I am not that gross)

"I don't think I've ever experienced food... I've been reborn." ... That is the best line I have heard in a very long time. LOL!! I must try this place when I come for a visit! Glad you had such a great evening.
