Andy decided it was high time for some Saturday morning FUN! So we packed up and went about 40 minutes north to a State Park Called Lake Houston. It was SOO much fun. The kids loved being liberated from their nagging mother saying, "stay together, hold hands, please don't touch that." Despite the tick that ended up in Audrie's hair I'd say I'm almost ready to do a real camping trip! Call me crazy, but there is something to getting out in the outdoor air and just absorbing the creations of God. I truly enjoyed myself.

This is the best time to get outdoors in Texas and especially to go camping. There are so many great state parks that you would enjoy. If you are up for a little drive, check out Garner or Inks Lake.
It snowed here that last two days so I am anxiously awaiting warm weather.
