Hail Storm

Well, we had our first REAL hail storm yesterday evening. It was Crazy!! I thought I heard some seriously large rain drops, peeked outside and realized it was ice. It was actually hilarious, because flashbacks of Nebraska came to mind, seeing all of those cars with dings all over them from hail...so frantically I said, "ANNNDDDYY!! Your CAR!!" Which is parked in the driveway (as opposed to mine in the garage). So Andy opens the garage as large pellets of ice are bouncing off garage door making it sound as if a million marbles are being catapulted towards us, grabs a bicycle helmet, and a large blanket and ventures into the ice. The marble size hail began to bounce off his head as he scrambled to cover his precious car. I only wish I got a picture. I did get some video, but I seem to have taken after my dear father who is famous for not recording when he means to record and recording when he doesn't. Yes, so I have some great floor shots of the garage and the ice on the ground, but none of my super hero, bicycle helmet husband saving his car from hail damage :)
