Peppermint Bark

Ok guys, this is my first attempt to candy making since a college course I took about 8 years ago maybe even 9 (OH MY GOODNESS has it been that long?? I am getting old!). And to my surprise it turned out SOO YUMMY :) I just had to show off before I send them on their merry way to the families I visit teach. Merry Christmas everyone! The recipe I used can be found here: http://sugarsavvy.net/2006/11/22/peppermint-bark/ The only difference is I actually stirred in crushed candy cane in the dark and the white chocolate, as well as sprinkling it on top.

Yumm Tara! Your peppermint bark looks so good! I'm SOOO impressed. Joseph and I usually make peanut butter and chocolate fudge together every year, but that is the closest we ever get to candy making. Way to go!
